Bryon Westmoreland channels his deep passion for compliance into leading organizations through the complexities of regulatory landscapes. With over two decades of experience in the tech industry, Bryon has a proven track record of successfully navigating and implementing compliance strategies that drive lasting success.
Bryon's commitment to compliance was solidified during his tenure as CEO of Communic8, where he successfully led the company through SOC 2 compliance and maintained their certification for four consecutive years. His strategic leadership expanded the company’s compliance framework to include GDPR and CCPA, raising the bar for organizational trust and security.
Beyond ensuring compliance, Bryon has been instrumental in helping companies develop automated internal systems that streamline and reinforce their compliance efforts. His expertise in building these systems has empowered organizations to efficiently manage controls and stay ahead of regulatory demands.
Bryon holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from California State University, Fresno. His dedication to innovation and excellence continues to drive his work at CyberCompliance.io, where he is committed to helping businesses achieve their compliance goals and secure their futures in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Marty Carter

InfoSec Manager / Lead Auditor
Marty Carter is an Information Security Manager and Lead Auditor at Cyber Compliance and brings a wealth of experience to the field. With over 20 years in information security, governance, risk, and compliance, Marty's career is marked by excellence. His military background, which includes 23 years in military communications, has honed his skills in secure communication technologies and operational security, shaping his approach to safeguarding organizational assets with precision and strategic foresight.
After holding the esteemed CISM certification for 10 years, Marty took a career break in 2020 to pursue other professional interests, a decision that broadened his horizons and enriched his overall skill set. In early 2024, leveraging his extensive knowledge and prior experience in security consulting, Marty returned to the field. Inspired by the insights gained during his career break, he co-founded Cyber Compliance with Bryon, aiming to provide expert compliance and security consulting services.
Marty holds the ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification and has an exemplary track record of driving ISO 27001 certification for a range of international clients. His strategic leadership was pivotal in the successful development and implementation of an information security governance framework for the Middle East’s largest Liquid, Oil, and Gas (LNG) supplier, a project that spanned from 2014 to 2019.
Over the past year, Marty has worked as an ISO 27001 auditor for clients in Switzerland, the UK, Africa, and India. In addition to ISO 27001 audits, he has led GDPR compliance projects for clients in Egypt and France, developed custom risk assessment tools for clients in Africa and Australia, and spearheaded a NIST Supply Chain Risk Management risk assessment project for a client in the Middle East. Most recently, Marty has been guiding a New Zealand company through the ISO 27001:2022 ISMS implementation process, with the goal of achieving certification by January 2025. This latest project further demonstrates how clients continue to rely on Marty’s professional expertise and in-depth knowledge.
As a seasoned professional active member of ISC2 and ISACA, Marty remains committed to continuous learning, currently working toward reacquiring the ISACA CISM certification and pursuing the ISC2 CGRC certification.
